Frame Installation
Non-Rated Frame—Quick Fix Bracket Timber Stud Installation
Non -Rated Frame— Quick Fix Bracket Metal Stud Installation
Fire Rated Frame—Quick Fix Bracket Timber Stud Installation
Fire Rated Frame— Quick Fix Bracket Metal Stud Installation
Quick fix bracket (concealed) installation of fire rated frames is the preferred method for fixing frames into timber or metal stud and plasterboard wall construction.
Backfilling of frame is required to meet tested fire door systems.
Non-Rated Frame— Stud Clip Timber Stud Installation
Non-Rated Frame— Stud Clip Metal Stud Installation
Stud Clip installation of non- rated frames is the preferred method for fixing knockdown frames into timber or metal stud and plasterboard wall construction.
Installation of frames can be achieved prior to or after stud walls have been erected. Stud clip sizes suit wall lining thicknesses 10mm, 13mm and 16mm.
Fire or Non - Rated Frame— Wire Ties Block/Brick Installation
Fire or Non - Rated Frame— Dyna bolt Block/Brick Installation
Wire Ties (Concealed) installation is the preferred method for block/brick walls. Frames are installed into the wall during the construction process with 5 wire ties each stile.
Dyna bolt (10mm Countersunk) installation allows pressed metal frames to be installed after walls have been constructed and is the preferred method for existing block/brick walls.
Backfilling of frame is recommended for strength & required to meet tested fire door systems.
Fire or Non - Rated Frame - Precast Concrete Installation
Fire or Non - Rated Frame - Dyna bolt Concrete Installation
Precast (Concealed) installation is the preferred method for concrete cast walls. Frames are installed into the wall during the concrete casting process resulting in a strong construction. Strap optional but recommended to prevent widening of frame during the concrete pouring process
Dyna bolt (10mm Countersunk) installation allows pressed metal frames to be installed after walls have been constructed and is the preferred method for existing precast wall construction.
Backfilling of frame is recommended for strength & required to meet tested fire door systems.
Non - Rated Frame— Flat Strap Metal Purlin Installation
Non - Rated Frame— Quick Fix Bracket Shadow Line Installation
Flat strap metal purlin installation is the preferred method for “C’ Purlins or beam construction. Frame is fixed into the opening and is suitable for metal clad façades.
Quick fix bracket shadow line installation is the perfect method of installation if looking for that architectural finish to plasterboard or render finish walls.
