The wider timber frame construction provides greater stability & strength, making it suitable for larger doors while still using lighter Formcell Honeycomb structural core.
The nominated 37mm door thickness is a nominal thickness only and is subject to the door face sheets selected at purchase.
Description
Fire Guardian Doors & Timber Solid Core Blockboard Doors are extremely robust and suitable for internal and external applications.
They’re solid construction throughout not requiring a timber perimeter frame, makes them very versatile and easily modified/re-sized without altering the structural integrity of the door.
Blockboard core is manufactured with short strips of solid pine, laminated together and dressed to form and even thickness core.
Solid Core Blockboard Doors provide a level of acoustic resistance with the use of select acoustic seal
combinations. They are perfect for internal and external applications (Duraboard/PLY) within covered environments, with the option to create openings for daylight and vents.
Optional Extras- Optional aluminium viewing panels & grills can be supplied separately from our aluminium
Systems.
Core Materials – Laminated Pine Timber Strips 28mm or 33mm
Frame – No Perimeter Frame Required
Door Face Options
- Paint quality plywood 3.6mm
- Duraboard 3.2mm
